Welcome back to school from Winter Break! Remember school? Well, there are only 5 class periods left in this course. You can use this time to finish the redesign the Stansbury High School web site assignment. You can use the time to finish any missing assignments for partial credit (some points are better than no points). Or you can use the time to review your lecture notes or check out the study guide for the final exam which will be given on Friday, January 8, 2010.

While you are working on your web site for a client, I am starting to review what will be on the Utah State Skills Assessment (a required test given by the State of Utah, that will count as you final exam for the course). We started talking about URLs, folders, and protocols. Refer to the study guide (a link is above) for what we covered and what is expected of you to know for the final. The test will be given upon our return to class after the Christmas break.

Finish the book review web site if you haven't already, I will come around this class period to grade it. You should begin on the assignment where you create a web site for a client. This client is SplatRabbit Productions. You can create your own artwork for this client, you don't have to use their's. This assignment is due on Monday, December 7, 2009.

If you haven't already, take the time to complete your public service announcement (PSA)web site dedicated to your favorite social issue. If you are finished, I'll come around and grade it in class on Thursday, November 19, 2009. Instead of playing games on the computer, you should be working on the next assignment where you create a multi-page web site for your favorite book and author. This assignment is due on Wednesday, November 25, 2009.

Welcome to the third term (and a new design for my web site created in Dreamweaver). You should be working on a multi-page advertisement for your favorite car. This is not a repeat of your favorite car assignment, this is a business-oriented advertisement. You must complete the Car Ad web site (in its own folder) by the end of class on Tuesday, November 3, 2009.
