Tue., Jan. 11 through Thur., Jan. 13, 2011
This week is time for the final exam. Our full-year Broadcasting 2 students will handle the newscast while you handle the testing. Thursday's broadcast will be the last of the semester. Thank you for your excellent work with the broadcasts this semester. If you think you would like to do more with TV broadcasting, then register for the full-year TV Broadcasting II for next school year.
Mon., Jan. 3 through Fri., Jan. 7, 2011
Submit your script today for review and grading. Then I would like you to read Ch. 5 in the Zettl textbook. Pay particular attention to the connectors since they will be on your final test next week.
Mon., Dec. 5 through Thur., Dec. 16, 2010
Broadcasting as usual, BUT you should be reviewing Ch. 1, 2, and 4 in the Zettl textbook. It's college-level reading and a re-read is well worth the effort.
Tue., Nov. 30 through Thur., Dec. 2, 2010
We return to our regular broadcasting schedule and you should be reading Ch. 4 in the Zettl textbook. (We are skipping Ch. 3 on scripting since we do plenty of that already).
Monday, November 22, 2010
Submit your script today for review and grading. NOTE: There will be no broadcast on Wednesday, November 24th, due to the shortened day. Have a Happy Thanksgiving break!
Thursday, November 18, 2010
Broadcasting as usual followed by reading Ch. 2 in the Zettl textbook.
Tuesday, November 16, 2010
Submit your script today for review and grading.
Mon., Nov. 8 through Fri., Nov. 12, 2010
Broadcasting like usual. But you should also be reading Ch. 1 in the Zettl textbook again.
Thursday, November 4, 2010
Submit your script today for review and grading.
Tuesday, November 2, 2010
Since I moved the Final Cut Editing assignment to 2nd term so that you have plenty of time to thoroughly learn how to edit a newscast, I will grade your progress on Tuesday, November 2, 2010. (After today's newscast goes to edit).
