Objective:

Students should be able to identify and describe how the primary and secondary markets function, how securities are traded, and how and where to find sources of investment information.
Learning Outcomes:
Students will achieve a moderately to highly skilled status by showing proficiency in the following:
- Identify and describe the primary and secondary securities markets.
- Trade securities using a broker.
- Locate and use several different sources of investment information to trade securities.
Coursework Procedure:
You have started working on your 2nd term stock assignment. You were required to pick 5 stocks and track them. In this assignment, you will explain your rationale for your choices.
This typed assignment is used to explain the following:
- For each stock, explain why you chose that stock for your assignment.
- For each stock, mention which need(s) from Mazlow the company's product or service fulfills.
- For each stock, explain who you believe the target market is for the company's product or service.
- Search the EDGAR database for the following information from each of your companies:
- Find the most recent 10-K filing and write who the executive officers are for the company.
- Give the address for the corporate or executive offices.
- Find the most recent "earnings per common share" and report as "basic" rather than diluted if both are listed.
