Thank you for taking this course. I hope that some of the information you received is helpful in your future financial lives, if not in your college careers. This class is not offered in the second semester of this school year. If you know of anyone interested in this course, they will need to see their counselor regarding registration from next year.

The 13th is indeed a good day for you. I have decided to curve the test thus giving the high scorer in the class 100%. This brought many of you up 2-3%. I also rebated participation points for school activities (shows up as an 'A' in the attendance report). This helped some of you teetering between two grades but probably had little effect on most of you. I enjoyed this class. I wish you success in your financial futures.

You have been assigned some terms and/or concepts that are covered in Ch. 12, 13, 14 of the textbook. Yes, I know there is no classroom set of the textbook, that's why you will be using the Internet and any other resources you can think up to do this assignment. You will to teach (not just present) to the rest of the class what you have been assigned in a way that you would like the information presented to you so you will be able to take a test on it. You will give your presentation starting Monday, November 30, 2009.

Welcome to the second term. Your grades have been transfered to the second term in SIS because you don't get a 1st term grade on your report card. As a result, there are no assignments under 1st term in SIS any longer.
We will continue our discussion of credit. I will try to get the study guide updated this week with all the information covered in the last two weeks. After discussion today, I would like you to work on the Consumer Credit Card research assignment. This is similar to what we looked up last week. This assignment is due on Wednesday, November 4, 2009.
