OBJECTIVES

Financial Literacy:
STANDARD 1 - Students will use a rational decision-making process to set and implement financial goals. Discuss personal values that affect financial choices (e.g., home ownership, work ethic, charity, civic virtue). Compare short-term and long-term financial goals. Learn advantages of designing and following a personal financial plan.

BUSINESS LAW:
STANDARD 1 - Analyze the relationship between ethics and the law. Identify sources of today’s law: constitutions (state and federal), common law, statutory law, court decisions, and state administrative law. Explain the role and function of the court system on the local, state and national levels. Determine how courts make law and explain the role of precedent in the legal system.

DIGITAL MEDIA:
STANDARD 6 - Planning, Design, & Development: Students will demonstrate proper planning and design by utilizing an instructional design model such as ADDIE, Adobe Professional Design, Rapid Deployment Model, and so forth in the development of digital media projects.

STANDARD 9 - Digital Video: Students will plan, create, edit, and publish digital video.

TV BROADCASTING:
STANDARD 4 - Students will be able to understand and demonstrate knowledge of pre­production.

STANDARD 5 - Students will be able to understand and demonstrate knowledge of studio operation.
